cs4500 Weekly Management Report
week seven: February 25, 2008

Accomplishments:
  • As you may recall our sponsor has ungone some changes that have greatly affected our project and put things on hold. Due to these changes our project has been stagnant and our accomplishments have been few. Unfortunately, this week did not provide us with huge strides of accomplishments. On a positive note, we were able to resolve issues with the sponsor and our project is back on course. That was our major accomplishment this week. Next week and looking forward our progress will be greatly improved. The project control is more in our hands than the sponsor's at this point which will be very beneficial.

Priorities:
  • Previously our sponsor was supplying our project plans one sprint at a time. With the recent changes we are now in the driver's seat. This is going to require some restructuring. This week will be a week of restructuring and we plan to be completely back on track before the week is over. We all have the priority of deciding on the major changes we would like to see in the application. We will have another team meeting on Saturday and devise a very strong plan that will result in a solid result and help us make up for lost time. Each team member has the responsibility of preparing one tool that will aid us in our development process and streamline our progress. We also plan to return to development/coding of the project by Saturday when we meet.
  • Tony

Needs:
  • Tom
    • Patience in our lack of progress. It has been out of our hands and very frustrating for us. We are excited that things are back on track.
  • Daz
    • Daz will be providing us with suggestions of some modifications that they would like to see in the application.
